tiltBoard Pre-Orders Fulfilled! (& Sold Out)

As of today all tiltBoard pre-orders have either been shipped or packaged and will be shipped on Monday. I have sent all of the shipping confirmations already. If you had an order and have not received a shipping e-mail about it, please e-mail me.  The completion of the pre-orders has sold out my stock of tiltBoards completely.

In othe news, I have added a Links section to the site. It is small now, but will grow over time.

tiltBoard Pre-Orders Now Shipping!

Just wanted to let everyone know that as of today I started shipping tiltBoard pre-orders. If yours was shipped today, you would have received a shipping e-mail. If you did not receive a shipping e-mail, don’t worry. I was only able to ship a small quantity today and will be shipping many more tomorrow. I hope to have all pre-orders shipped within two weeks. It may be sooner or later depending on when parts/boards arrive.

I will post another order update when all pre-orders have been fulfilled and tiltBoards are in stock.

tiltBoard Pre-Order Update

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got the PCB’s in last week and have been busy soldering and making preparations for shipping. If all goes well, I will be shipping the first batch of pre-orders on Tuesday (February 20). The first batch will not fulfil all pre-orders. If you don’t get a shipping e-mail that means that you were not in on the first batch. The second batch (which will fulfill most pre-orders) will be shipping hopefully within a week, depending on when I get the next order of parts in.

Tutorial: Add a tiltBoard to Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

The article below deals with the installation of the original tiltBoard and is left for historical reasons. You can download instructions for the new Talismoon tiltBoard 360 by clicking here (PDF).

In this tutorial I am going to take you through installing a tiltBoard into an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. I am going to be hacking into the left analog stick. If you want to do the right analog stick, the wiring will be the same, but it will be on the right stick instead. I will also be installing a DPDT switch for switching the input into the controller between the tiltBoard and analog stick. Instructions are also provided for those who do not want to install a switch. I apologize for some of the blurry pictures. At the beginning of this tutorial I was using an old digital camera, and towards the middle I switched to my new Canon PowerShot SD600 6MP Digital Elph Camera, which has been working great! Click on any of the pictures throughout the tutorial for a larger version.
